Shemonti Shams is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in communication and media at Bournemouth University. Her favorite units are "Global Current Affairs" and "Writing for the Media." Shemonti is originally from Bangladesh but moved to the UK in 2006, has lived there ever since and considers it home. She has travelled to mostly Asian countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, but he has also visited the US. Apart from her courses, she also writes articles for the university magazine and website, Nerve. She mostly writes about movies, entertainment and social issues. Shemonti is really passionate about music and tries to listen to music of different genres and languages. She also enjoys reading books, mainly fantasy and fiction. She is fluent in English and Bengali, and can speak Hindi quite well. Shemonti hopes to be a journalist or work in a publishing house in the future but is still undecided about her future career path.
