Shahbaz

Ambassador SHAHBAZ is ambassador of Pakistan to Austria and the Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations and other international organizations in Vienna. He is also the ambassador of Pakistan to the Slovak Republic, resident in Vienna. Ambassador Shahbaz has served as the ambassador of Pakistan to Norway, as director general at the United Nations ministry of foreign affairs, and as director general at the disarmament ministry of foreign affairs. He was assigned to establish the Embassy of Pakistan in Budapest, Hungary, in 1987, and served as Charge d’ Affaires. Prior to beginning his diplomatic career, he practiced law in the High Court and its subordinate courts. Ambassador Shahbaz holds a B.A. in history and political science and a B.A. in law from the University of the Punjab, Pakistan.
