He has helped businesses grow as a consultant with McKinsey and Company, communities thrive as an economic developer with Virginia Economic Development Partnership, schools transform while co-leading Purpose Built Schools Atlanta, and talent access the workforce skills they need through Generation U.S. He holds an undergraduate degree from Morehouse College, a Master's from London School of Economics, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a PhD in Public Policy from Virginia Commonwealth University.
