Consultant, United Nations Assistance to the Khmer Rouge Trials, Cambodia
Sayana Ser is a consultant of witnesses and experts at the Extraordinary Chambers in the Court of Cambodia and the Khmer Rouge Tribunal. In addition, she is currently leading an outreach project for the Documentation Center of Cambodia, where she has worked since her senior year of high school, initially as a volunteer. Sayana also works on Genocide Memorial and Cham Community Culture Preservation and Development Projects, and assists the editing, rehearsal, production and organization of local and provincial tours of plays such as Searching for the Truth, Breaking the Silence, Unspoken Words, and Lost Loves. In 2007, she interned at the Department of Conscience at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and at Voice of America Radio in Washington D.C., USA. She earned a B.A. in Accounting and Finance from the National University of Management, as well as an M.Sc. in Leisure, Tourism, and Environment from Wageningen University, the Netherlands. Sayana is a Fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar.
