Sarah Lutman is president and managing director of The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra. Previously, she was senior vice-president for content and media at the American Public Media (APM), where she was responsible for all broadcast, digital, and live-event news and cultural programming. She has earned two Peabody Awards as executive producer of two APM programs, produced in collaboration with the San Francisco Symphony. She led the application for APM to join the European Broadcasting Union, which resulted in bringing concerts by American orchestras and artists to a wide international audience. She also served as senior program officer at The Bush Foundation. She is a co-founder and editor of the Grant-makers in the Arts Journal, published for the national arts and culture grant-making community. Ms. Lutman is a fellow of the Salzburg Global Seminar Session 468, The Performing Arts in Lean Times: Opportunities for Reinvention.
