Samuel Mayze is director of strategic projects at UAP company, where he pursues creative, challenging and exciting public realm projects in the Middle East and Australia. Samuel is a consultant in the cultural and creative industries with experience managing public art, cultural master planning and complex fabrication projects. He provides strategic advice to public (local, regional and national) and private sector clients for the delivery of built outcomes in the public realm. His role requires close collaboration with a diverse range of stakeholders to deliver UAP's broad spectrum of projects. He has worked on some of UAP's most significant projects in the Middle East and Australia including the Public Art Creative Visions and Masterplans for Riyadh Art, Wadi Hanifa, Diriyah Gate, Amaala and Qiddiya; Curatorial Vision and Concept Design for the Australia Pavilion Expo 2020; The Children's Playground, National Museum of Qatar; and Brisbane City Council and Queensland Government concept masterplans for new parks. Samuel has worked in the design and construction industry for over 20 years across Australia, the United Kingdom, the Middle East and South-East Asia, developing a mixture of design and project management experience. He is a registered architect (Queensland) and holds a bachelor of architecture with honors from the University of Queensland.
