Sampoorna Krishna

Undergraduate Physical Product Design Student, BITS Design School, Mumbai, India

Sampoorna Krishna is a Chancellor’s Scholar and Physical Product Design student at BITS Design School, Mumbai and serves as Secretary of Student Welfare. She is interested in material-driven making, human-centered systems, and storytelling through physical and experiential products rooted in craft, culture and user insight. She worked as Transformation Project Intern with the Office of a District Collector, where she co-conceptualized a rural initiative, designing its holistic system strategy, spatial architecture and layout, while conducting field immersion. She has also worked on AI-powered educational technology projects, spending time in rural schools. A trained Carnatic singer and veena player, she authored a dissertation on the effects of Indian Music Therapy at age 15, as the youngest student in the program. She has studied the Sanskrit language and has mentored several students. She has consistently sought leadership roles, channeling design thinking into transdisciplinary fields. She completed her schooling at GEAR Innovative Intl. School, Bengaluru.
