Roxane Caires is a Research Scientist with New York University's Global TIES for Children (TIES/NYU). Over the past four years Roxane has led in the development of the Inter-Agency Network for Education in Emergencies' Measurement Library, and in partnership with government and NGO stakeholders supported in the development of Lebanon's National Framework of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and a national assessment of psychosocial distress and SEL with children, caregivers, and teachers in Peru. Roxane previously worked in local US government conducting needs assessments and developing measurable indicators to monitor the impact of targeted funding on key child and youth outcomes. She holds a master's degree in Applied Psychology from New York University, and a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a focus on Education from the University of California at Berkeley.
