Robbin (Rob) Johnson is president of the Cargill Foundation and senior advisor, Global Policy Studies, at the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs. Prior to this, Mr. Johnson worked 35 years at Cargill. In 2000 he was elected Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs. He currently serves on the boards of the International Policy Council on Food, Agriculture and Trade, Minnesota Early Learning Foundation and Second Harvest Heartland. He is a past chair of the U.S. Feed Grains Council and the Canada-Minnesota Business Council. He has written extensively on farm policy, trade policy, food security, APEC and biofuels. Mr. Johnson also is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He received a B.A. from Yale University and was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University in England, and attended Yale Law School.
