Richard Enrique Schneider de la Torre is a student at the University of Salamanca and Valladolid. As an undergraduate, he studied a degree in English studies and this year he began studying for a master's degree in advanced English studies. He has worked for several years as an English teacher in a variety of different language schools (i.e., Kids and Us). He has long held a strong taste for narratives. His interest in cultural studies, especially those of the U.S., including the subjects of soft power and "cultural imperialism" is what led him to write his bachelor thesis on the narrative of a quintessentially US movement, the "Alternative Right", and its influence in Europe. Currently, he is further exploring this topic in his master's thesis which he expects to defend in June.
