Reinhold Wagnleitner (Guest Speaker) is an associate professor of modern history at the University of Salzburg and a lecturer in history at Salzburg College. He has served as a visiting professor at the University of New Orleans, Louisiana, USA and was the Max Kade Distinguished Visiting Professor of American History at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Professor Wagnleitner is chair of the Society for Modern History and chair of the scientific board of the Leopold-Kohr-Academy. He has attended several sessions of the Salzburg Seminar and was a faculty member for the American Studies Workshop 20, Internet – Networking, Research, and Popular American Culture, in 1997.
