Reginald Braggs is the assistant vice president at the American University of Nigeria (AUN). He joined AUN in 2012, however his duties largely shifted in August 2014 when he was tasked to create a school within a university to accommodate 24 of the Chibok girls who had managed to escape captivity by an insurgent group. The New Foundation School Chibok Education Initiative was founded and now supports over 100 Chibok girl students who have either escaped or been released from the insurgent group. The students are now pursuing their path to a college education. Reginald is passionate about integrating academic and student affairs with educational philosophies in an effort to provide a holistic, well-rounded educational experience for students. He has extensive international experience having worked in schools and universities in Nigeria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE, Jordan, and the U.S. He received his B.B.A. from Prairie View A&M, University of Texas, USA and his M.B.A. from Texas Southern University, USA.
