Rachele Tardi leads the Youth Exchange at the Open Society Foundations. Rachele has more than 15 years of experience working in the field of youth, inclusion, and participation with a focus on the rights of children and youth with disabilities, in a variety of countries and with different international non-governmental organizations. She is interested in exploring how foundations can live up to their diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) values both in their grant making and in their operations. She recently published the article "How Foundations Can Lead on Disability-Inclusive Grantmaking" in the Stanford Social Innovation Review. She earned her first degree with distinction from the University of Bologna, Italy, and her PhD from University College London, UK.
