Mr. Sinclair is a fellow at the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. Previously, as head of innovation and growth in the Cabinet Office, Mr. Sinclair led innovation in the UK Government. He was a senior adviser to Lord Young, the British Prime Minister's adviser on small business and enterprise in No 10 Downing Street, and led reforms in the UK and EU. Mr. Sinclair was senior adviser at the European Commission, where he advised governments and business on policy for innovation and growth, entrepreneurship, science and Industry 4.0. He was appointed as a member of the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council on New Growth Models by Dr. Klaus Schwab (Chairman), and was a contributor to Dr. Schwab's book on the Fourth Industrial Revolution. As an entrepreneur he has founded two tech businesses, most recently in the education sector for the Asia Pacific region. He is a fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufacturers & Commerce, a fellow of the Institute of Directors, a Policy Fellow at the Centre for Science and Policy, University of Cambridge, and a member of Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs. He holds a LL.b. from the University of London and and a B.Bus. from the University of Technology, Sydney.
