In this role, his key areas of focus are health and safety, environment and social engagement. Mr. Heijne also serves as supervisory board member of i+solutions, a foundation working towards universal access to high quality, affordable medicines and health products, where he advises and supports a small management team on voluntary basis. Mr. Heijne started his career at TNT in 1992 as manager audit, holding different positions with increasing responsibilities thereafter. Prior to joining TNT, he was manager business economics at KPN.
