Nuno is an educator, researcher, and teacher trainer. Academically, he just delivered his PhD research in Educational Psychology (Universidade de Lisboa). With experience in personal and social development projects in different educational settings, he is the executive director of the Associação Competências para a Vida, which supports the educational potential of schools and social projects using critical oracy, debate and active methodologies. In the last months, Nuno has been working on a new research-action project on the "Pedagogies of cooperation and solidarity". Before this, Nuno was the pedagogical responsible for European educational projects in the field of critical oracy and debate (2021-2025), coordinated the design and implementation of the Human Training Plan at Colégio Pedro Arrupe (2010-2022), and was the founder of the Associação Mais Cidadania. In recent years, Nuno has represented CEPCEP (Universidade Católica Portuguesa) in the European Civic Education Collaborative Network.
