Janina Castro is the program officer for campus sustainability of the Ateneo Institute of Sustainability. She received her undergraduate degree in environmental science from the Ateneo de Manila University. She is passionate about science communication and assists in the various online and offline campus sustainability programs. Her interests include designing livable cities, habitat restoration, urban biodiversity, and nature education. Her recent work has focused on designing educational materials about Philippine urban biodiversity and exploring how a university campus can be used as a living laboratory.
