Nidhi Khurana is a global health professional with 10 years of experience in policy development and analysis, knowledge translation (research to policy initiatives), implementation research, monitoring and evaluation, and advocacy in resource-constrained settings. Her technical expertise lies in health systems strengthening, policy priority setting, and health economics/financing. Nidhi has expertise and experience across a broad spectrum of public health domains, including reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health (RMNCAH); universal health coverage reform in developing countries; social protection programs for the health sector; data for decision-making; health informatics; integrated behavioral change for sustainable development; road safety and injury prevention; and development impacts of sanitation. Her forte is in delivering research impact by translating evidence to action, i.e. making science salient for policymakers and program managers. Prior to embarking on her global health career, Nidhi worked as a growth strategy consultant for 8 years, leading analyst teams to help businesses make informed decisions on market entry and diversification. She has worked across academia, multilateral organizations, and international non-profits, including the World Bank, WHO Foundation, Johns Hopkins University, Population Council, and the Public Health Foundation of India. Nidhi holds a Master of Science in Public Health majoring in international health systems and policy from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health (Baltimore, MD) and a Master of Business Administration from the University School of Management Studies, Delhi, India.
