Neil MacGregor
Former Director, British Museum and National Gallery
Neil MacGregor is an art historian, writer and broadcaster. He was Director of the National Gallery. London from 1987 to 2002, and of the British Museum from 2002 to 2015. From 2015 to 2018 he was Founding Director of the Humboldt Forum, Berlin, and is now Advisor to the J. Paul Getty Foundation in Los Angeles and the CSMVS Museum in Mumbai. Among his publications are Seeing Salvation; A History of the World in 100 Objects; Germany, Memories of a Nation; and Living with the Gods.
