Naoki Inoue is a journalist based in Tokyo, Japan. As a Chief Producer at the Japanese public broadcasting organization NHK, he accelerates digital investigative reporting and collaboration between a news organization and a civic tech community. He also worked as a Teaching Fellow at Google News Lab, a team within Google that supports the news industry, where he taught digital skills to journalists and co-led data-driven reporting projects from 2018-2020. Prior to moving to Tokyo, Inoue served at local newspapers in the Kyushu region. He is passionate about exploring the intersection of technology and journalism.
