Her bylines include Rolling Stone, The Atlantic, New York Magazine, National Geographic, The Washington Post, Al Jazeera English, and many more, on topics ranging from the European financial crisis, to global migration, to cross-border environmental diplomacy. She has edited for publications ranging from CityLab, to Al Jazeera English, to Talking Points Memo to Middle East Eye, and was an Americas news producer for the European Broadcasting Union. She is a former fellow with the McGraw Center, the International Women's Media Foundation, the International Center for Journalists, the Border Center for Journalists and Bloggers, and more.
