My name is Mojan Najmabadi and I am Junior Journalism major at Phillip Merrill College of Journalism, University of Maryland College Park. I was born and raised in Iran before moving to the States when I was eleven years old. I became very fascinated with journalism when I realized how much the perspective of a society hinges on the information they are presented by media . I love the theater and I especially like Shakespeare (yes, dorky, I know) and though I haven't had much time for it I also enjoy making ceramic pieces. I am a writer for the Mitzpeh and I can speak fluent Farsi.
