Originally from Finland, I moved to UK in 2014 to study multimedia journalism in Bournemouth University. There, I combined my passion for journalism and my wanderlust to have little adventure of my own, while learning about life in a different culture. I'm interested in current affairs, sustainability and other green issues, and culture. Especially films and art are my thing. What I really like about journalism are the possibilities to learn more about the world and meeting new people. That's where my future aspirations lie, too. I want to make information accessible, and I want to make a positive change in the world. In the past I've assisted in citizen journalism workshops for disabled people, and teaching and researching journalism is definitely something I want to do more of. In the future, I wish to be able to work in a news organisation or write about culture.
