Mio Kitajima is a medical doctor at the Japan Self Defence Forces in Sapporo, Japan and expected to be Lieutenant in February, 2025. She has a particular interest in the fields of social inequality and its health outcome, time teries analysis and infectious disiase outbreak surveillance. She is good at using statistical software such as R and Stata. Mio will be obtaining the M.P.H from Graduate School of Public Health at St.Lukes International University, Tokyo, Japan and will pursue Ph.D. to study social epidemiology and time series analysis.
