Mary Pat Brady is an associate professor of Latino/a and Latina literatures at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. She specializes in contemporary US literatures and especially the literatures of Latinos and Latinas in the United States. She is the author of Extinct Lands, Temporal Geographies (Duke University Press) and an associate editor of the 7th edition of the Heath Anthology of American Literature. In 2014 she was the Whitney J. Oats Fellow in the Humanities Council and the Center for African American Studies at Princeton University.
