Mariia Osypchuk is a Ukrainian civil society activist currently working as an Operational Officer of Pro Bono Club Ukraine - a platform for meaningful partnerships between business comunity and NGOs. Mariia is responsible for the operation management of the organization and the establishment of new partnerships with business professionals and non-profit organizations. She has a legal education and started her career in 2013 as a lawyer's assistant. After the Revolution of Dignity in 2014 Mariia joined the youth political party Democratic Alliance and took part in elections to local self-government bodies. Mariia actively participates in projects on the development of civil society in Ukraine and in the advocacy of democratic reforms including housing reform. She has held more than 500 educational events to explain the ongoing reforms to the citizens of Ukraine since 2016. Mariia is a consultant for the International Finance Corporation (the World Bank Group) project Energy Efficiency in Ukraine and helps the project team explain the reform to Ukrainians. Besides, Mariia is a business coach and conducts training programs on emotional intelligence and communication skills development. Mariia studied at the Robert Schuman Institute and completed courses at the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School. She is an author of a number of articles, blogs, and manuals on legal issues of civil society development in Ukraine.
