Marianne Olsson has a long time experience as a leader in health care and social services, as well as in quality improvement and project management. She is currently working as an independent consultant and is a former managing director for the city district of Angered, in the city of Göteborg. She formerly worked as director of Angereds Närsjukhus. Before that she worked for the county council of Sörmland, SALAR (The Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions), and Sahlgrenska University Hospital in leading positions. She is active on the European scene, president of the European Hospital Management Association and former member of the high level steering committee on the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing.
