Malu Nunes is the executive director of the Boticário Group Foundation for Nature Protection and sustainability manager of Boticário Group. She also serves as a board member for several other organizations, including Group of Institutes and Foundations, the Center for Volunteer Action in Curitiba, O Eco Association, SAVE Brazil, and LIFE Institute. Her primary areas of expertise are biodiversity conservation, business sustainability, private social investment, and conservation policy. She is trained as a Forestry Engineer and a specialist in protected areas management, and holds an M.A. in Nature Conservation and Forestry Science.
