Makoto Matsuura is a director at G-experience LLC in Akita, Japan. G-experience was started in 2016 and specializes in hybrid schooling that combines in-school and out-of-school learning and offers personalized education that are tailored to each child's needs. Prior to move to Gojome Town, Akita, Japan with his family, including two children, to found his company, Makoto established the non-profit organization "cobon" in 2007 and launched the initiatives focusing on "Children's Town" projects and artist exchange programs in Osaka and Jakarta. These programs have reached over 20,000 children with educational opportunities. He has been serving as a member of the Gojome Town Council since 2020.
