M. Ann TUTWILER is the managing director for Trade and Development of Agricultural Markets for the Global Development Program at The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. She was the Foundation’s first managing director for trade and development, creating the initial grant strategy. She joined the Foundation after serving as president and chief executive officer of the International Food and Agriculture Trade Policy Council, an organization that she co-founded in 1987. Previously, Ms. Tutwiler was a policy associate at the National Center for Food and Agriculture Policy and also served as the director of government relations for the North American oilseed crushing and corn refining companies of Eridania Beghin-Say. She currently serves on the board of directors of the International Fertilizer Development Center and the Partnership to Cut Hunger and Poverty in Africa. Ms. Tutwiler earned a B.A. from Davidson College, and an M.P.P. from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. Member of the International Advisory Committee.
