Loyse Bonjour has been the director of global human resources at the Open Society Foundations since May 2016. Prior to this, she worked at the International Rescue Committee for seven years, most recently as the regional human resources director for the network of headquarters in the US, Europe, Asia and Africa. Loyse has been active in the field of global human resources and nongovernmental organizations for more than 15 years. She has worked in human resources management and leadership positions in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sudan, Switzerland, Uganda, and the United States. She obtained an M.A. in theology with a specialization in ancient near Eastern religions at the University of Lausanne. She also trained in human resources management for her postgraduate diploma at the University of Geneva.
