Elise "Lisa" Salem is the vice president for student development and enrollment management at the Lebanese American University. In this role, she is responsible for all matters relating to student affairs, including recruitment, retention and development. She is committed to empowering youth through education and to broadening opportunities for women and for students from public schools. Lisa is also a tenured full professor of literature with a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she studied Lebanese culture, identity and world literature.
