Lindsay Hill supports the Raikes Foundation's trustees, leadership team, and strategy and operations teams to ensure that the foundation's investments and partnerships lead to a more just and equitable world. Prior to this role, Lindsay served as a program officer on the Raikes Foundation national education strategy and helped to launch the Building Equitable Learning Environments (BELE) Network. The BELE Network is an innovative learning collaborative that brings together education nonprofits, educators, research institutions, and experts in equity, improvement science, and scaling for impact, to transform the education system. Before joining the Raikes Foundation, Lindsay spent four years as the founding executive director of Teach For America - Washington. In addition to her work at the Raikes Foundation, Lindsay is also a public speaker and a diversity, equity, and inclusion coach and trainer for individuals and organizations through her consulting business, Sojourner Advising. She is also a fellow with the Billions Institute, an organization dedicated to achieving large scale social change. She holds a bachelor's degree in sociology and public policy from Pomona College and a master's degree in teaching from Pace University.
