Lihong Wang is currently chairwoman and CEO of RISE Education Cayman Ltd, a company listed on the NASDAQ (stock code: REDU). Before taking on the Ceo role of Rise, Lihong had 13 years of experience in private equity industry. She joined Bain Capital Private Equity Asia, LLC July 2006 and had served as a managing director since January 2011. At Bain Capital, she was mainly responsible for private equity investment in Greater China and Asia Pacific region. She has led deals in industrial, consumer & retail, technology, healthcare, education and financial & business services verticals. She sat on Bain Capital Asia investment committee and helped Bain Capital deployed capital exceeded US$10 billion. Before she joined Bain Capital Asia, LLC, she has spent eight years in the investment banking industry in Asia and the United States. Lihong also serves as a non?executive director of Huifu Payment Limited, a company listed on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (stock code: 1806), started October 2019. She is currently a director of Columbia Business School Board of Overseers. Shereceived a Master degree in Business Administration from Columbia Business School in 1999 and a Bachelor of Science degree from Fudan University in 1990.
