Since November 2011, Laura Biancalani has been President of the Andrea Bocelli Foundation. In 2016 she chose to dedicate herself full time to this project and was appointed General Manager of the Andrea Bocelli Foundation. Since 2009 she has been a member of the National Microcredit Commission of the trade association of Foundations and Savings Banks and, again, in 2009 she was appointed by the Council of Tuscan Banking Foundations of the CESVOT working group. From 2005 to 2016 she worked as Head of Institutional Activities and Legal Affairs of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di San Miniato. In 2006 she became Operations Manager of The People of S. Miniato for Advancement of Economy, Society and Peace in the Middle East. Prior to that, Laura worked in the third sector as a lawyer, in realities such as FERS or Cassa di Risparmio di San Miniato, as an operational consultant. Laura has won a scholarship to attend the Management of Cooperative and Non-Profit Companies Master at Bocconi University, in Milan, and graduated in law studies from said university.
