Lara Pinto

Lara Pinto is a first-year undergraduate design student based in Mumbai, India. She is drawn to exploring new cities, cultures, and ideas, and approaches design as a way of making sense of everyday encounters and the stories embedded within systems. Her interests lie at the intersection of design and media, particularly how framing, editing, and sharing shape memory, trust, and public perception. Lara views the Salzburg Academy as an opportunity to reflect responsibility, power, and honesty in media systems, and to explore how designers can contribute to more inclusive and transparent storytelling.
