Kim Loper is a social designer, artist, educator and youth advocate supporting non-profit, political, cultural arts and movement-based work. She is committed to leveraging collaborative processes to engage in critical conversations, learn our histories and dismantle inequities so that we can build a new world where everyone is free. She resides in Baltimore, MD. In her free time, she watches lots of reality television for "research" and dances as often as possible. Kim holds an M.F.A. in community arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art and is an Open Society Institute 2017 alum, where she supported a youth-run worker-owner design cooperative.
