Kiara Winona Sweeney is the program director at Yunus Environment Hub, the global social business network co-founded by Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Muhammad Yunus. She leads the programs department, supporting social businesses that tackle environmental challenges across Europe, Africa, and Asia, while shaping partnerships with governments, international organizations, and the private sector to drive systemic change. Passionate about empowering young innovators, Kiara mentors through initiatives including the World Economic Forum Global Shapers Munich, UNDP Youth4Climate, beVisioneer, the 3ZERO Club, and EuroTeQ Collider. Before joining Yunus Environment Hub, she worked in sustainability and innovation at Amazon, Microsoft, and Infosys. A recognized voice in social impact, climate action, and youth leadership, Kiara is an African German Young Leaders in Business (AGYLE) Fellow, an EU Climate Pact ambassador, and a Climate Reality leader. She holds a B.Sc. in International business administration from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and is pursuing a second B.Sc. in political science at the Technical University of Munich.
