Prof. Katrin Kuhlmann is a Professor in Graduate and International Programs at Georgetown University Law Center and the co-founder and Faculty Director of the Center on Inclusive Trade and Development. She is also the Founder of the New Markets Lab, a non-profit law and development innovation lab, and a former trade negotiator who has held senior positions in think tanks and NGOs. Her research and teaching focus on international law and development, comparative law, international trade law, sustainability and social inclusion, and agriculture and food security, and she is published widely in these areas. Prof. Kuhlmann is also a Senior Associate with the Global Food Security Project of the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), and she serves on the Trade Advisory Committee on Africa at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR). She holds a law degree from Harvard Law School and was a Fulbright scholar in international economics.
