Kate Yang

Kate Yang is a multidisciplinary consultant based in Copenhagen. She founded Rhymes Consulting, a boutique research and consulting studio, initially in China in late 2018 and registered it in Denmark in 2024. Kate is dedicated to bridging Asia-EU understanding and bringing innovative solutions to the third sector. Her third sector engagement includes participatory and evidence-based policy-design research and consulting projects, as well as volunteer roles in peer-support networks, foundations, and non-profits in the UK, Germany, and Denmark. She actively advocates for tech inclusion, gender equality, and social mobility in public policy. As a generalist, Kate connects effectively across all levels and cultures. Besides 5 years of social entrepreneurship, she has worked for 15 years with governments, universities, and listed companies in various roles across Asia, the US, and Europe. Kate holds a bachelor's and master's degree in management and earned an EMPA from the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin in 2021.
