Kate Raworth is a senior visiting research associate at Oxford University's Environmental Change Institute , and is the creator of Oxfam's 'doughnut' of planetary and social boundaries. Her research is focused on rethinking economics so that it is fit for tackling the 21st century's social and ecological challenges. She was senior researcher at Oxfam , economist and co-author of UNDP's Human Development Report , and a fellow of the Overseas Development Institute , based in Zanzibar's Ministry of Trade, Industries and Marketing. Ms. Raworth holds a first class B.A. in Politics, Philosophy and Economics, and a Masters in Economics for Development, both from Oxford University. She is a member of the International Advisory Board of the Environmental Change Institute and an Advisory Panel Member of the Planetary Boundaries Initiative .
