Karen Hamling has worked for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office since 1999 and has had postings in Brussels, Tbilisi, and Washington. Last year, she joined the Human Rights Department as Freedom of Religion or Belief desk officer. In this role, Karen works on projects relating to post-Holocaust experiences and hate crimes. Moreover, she serves as the project manager for her team. Karen obtained her degree in psychology.
