Kanako Nakamura started her career as a physiotherapist, with a focus on children with impairments. She believed that providing them with therapeutic training alone was not enough to empower them. Subsequently, Kanako transitioned to the private business sector to make a difference in society. Her product, "Digireha" (short for "Digital Interactive Rehabilitation System"), enables children with special needs to engage in therapeutic training more spontaneously. Kanako believes that the quality of rehabilitation has a significant impact on people's quality of life, and by introducing digital arts and sensing technology, she hopes to change the basis of therapy. She spent two years in Guatemala as a physiotherapy volunteer, where she enjoyed socializing with people from different backgrounds.
