Justin Edwards is the Director Learning Programmes with Minecraft Education Edition at Microsoft. He joined the organization in 2021, having spent seven years as Chief Executive of The Council for the Curriculum, Examinations & Assessment (CCEA) which is one of the UK's regulators of qualifications and examinations. He is passionate about education reform, with a focus on play-based learning, game-based education, assessment reform and curriculum reform. His projects include revision of the entire suite of post 14 and post 16 examinations in the UK, development of regulatory frameworks for vocational qualifications, climate education in game-based learning and curriculum reform for special educational needs.
