Jun Arima is currently a project professor at the Graduate School of Public Policy, the University of Tokyo and teaches energy and environmental policies. Before joining the University of Tokyo, he had been working for the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan. He had been experiencing various energy and climate related positions including head, country studies division at the IEA, director, international affairs division at the Agency of Natural Resources and Energy (ANRE)/METI, and deputy director general on global environmental affairs, METI. He has attended the COP meetings 16 times.
