Juan Guillermo Santacruz is an institutional member and director of the Palliative Care Unit of the Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá. He is also a professor in palliative care at Universidad de los Andes, Universidad Javeriana, Universidad El Bosque, Universidad Nacional, Universidad Caldas, and Universidad Militar. He formerly worked as director of the Palliative Care Unit, and was an internal medicine and palliative care instructor, at the Hospital San Ignacio and at the Universidad Javeriana. He holds an M.B. A. from Universidad de la Sabana and was trained as an internal medicine specialist and physician at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
