Jorge Muñoz, a national of El Salvador, is the controller at the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI). Prior to his current position, he worked as an auditor for USAID and as a fiscal control agent for the Millennium Challenge Corporation. Jorge was CEO at the Social Prevision Institute of the Armed Forces and head of budget at the Ministry of National Defense of El Salvador. He has also served as a research analyst for the RAND Corporation and as a senior research associate at UCLA. Jorge earned his BS degree in operations research from the US Air Force Academy, he has a master's in management from the Naval Postgraduate School, and master's in finance and financial law as well as a master of laws from the University of London. He also holds M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in policy analysis from the Pardee RAND Graduate School in Santa Monica, California.
