John Quintus is an adjunct professor at the University of Delaware, teaching graduate seminars on U.S. foreign policy. He entered the Foreign Service in 1980 and served for 25 years in the field of public diplomacy. He has published widely on English and American literature, U.S. naval history, education, and foreign policy. He currently teaches at the University of Delaware on a part-time basis as well as at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. He holds an A.B. with honors from UNC-Chapel Hill, master's degrees from Harvard University & University of Virginia, and a Ph.D. from University of Delaware.
