Johannes Schwaninger

Johannes Schwaninger is an independent curator in film, architecture, design, visual arts. He is the founder of Film Festival Zell am See, Austria. His research interests include the impact of digitalization on arts and culture with special emphasis on new forms of participation and their effects on the future of festivals. Johannes is a member of the supervisory boards of Salzburg Museum, Museum der Moderne Salzburg and Domquartier Salzburg, and a member of the Regional Cultural Advisory Board of the province of Salzburg. He holds a bachelor's degree in philosophy from the University of Rome, a master's degree in psychology from New York University, and has completed graduate studies in psychology and behavioral neuroscience at Columbia University.
