Johannes BENIGNI is managing director of JBC Energy GmbH in Vienna, Austria (formerly PVM Oil Associates Vienna). Mr. Benigni founded the company in the early 1990s, focusing mainly on Central and Eastern Europe. Over the ensuing years Mr Benigni has guided the company away from oil brokering to specialise in consulting, research, energy studies and training. Mr. Benigni and the JBC team have superior knowledge of energy markets and support many national oil and gas companies as well as government-related agencies with strategic advice on upstream and downstream projects. His insight into energy market developments is also often requested by industry and mainstream media and he is a regular contributor to business channels such as Bloomberg and CNBC. He is a graduate of the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and a visiting professor at the Prague University of Economics.
